  Hand painted original acrylic painting of Stones   I had inspiration for this painting from some stones that I was photographing when I was in Dorset, I noticed how the colours of the stones were exposed when the stones got wetter and how the sun catches the light.   I originally drew these stones with charcoal and wax and then gradually went over with acrylic paint and then again with chalk and charcoal.  I especially like the raw feel to this piece and the almost pixelated feel to the texture.
 
I like to use an interesting background and then draw or paint over the top of it creating a layered piece.   ***SOLD****
 
I have signed and dated all prints.
 
This piece is also available as a framed silk scarf - this is pinned to a back board and displayed in a black frame with crystal clear plastic glazing for safety.   The scarf of course can be purchased and framed personally if you would rather. The choice is yours.  the scarf is 90cm square crepe silk
 
There is also a velvet cushion cover in this design as it works well in a variety of settings.
